ISS plays while Dr. Ryan Stone tries to contact Matt Kowalski, she is unable to get a response and must confirm that she is the sole survivor of STS-157. ISS is a tragic and pensive theme that explores the effects of loneliness.
ISS also works radio frequencies into the music to create the theme and is the only track to do so intensively along with In the Blind.
