Aurora Borealis is the eleventh track on the Gravity Soundtrack, named after the Northern Lights.

The main goal of the track Aurora Borealis is to admire the beauty of Earth from outer space even when things look hopeless. It is played when Dr. Ryan Stone looks down at the Earth and decides that she wants to die up in space where it's serene and nobody can hurt her.

The track is calm and peaceful, made to relax the viewer after the tension of the previous scenes. It was also played during the end credits, after Gravity.
